In Supply, NC, a car accident Wednesday caused a vehicle to crash through the front doors of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and into the sanctuary about 30 minutes before their weekly prayer meeting. The vehicle burst through the front doors, taking out pews and the majority of the left side of the sanctuary, before hitting the front of the altar driving it back several feet. The cause of the crash was a truck that failed to stop at a stop sign before hitting the back of the SUV. No one was injured.
