Both Iredell-Statesville Schools and Mooresville Graded Schools are closed for students today with an optional teacher workday for Iredell Statesville Schools. Both school systems said that with freezing temperatures overnight, any thawing will result in a refreeze that could cause treacherous conditions for students who drive as well as buses.
