Raleigh police say that a missing Wendell man, Gregory Thomas, 30, was found dead in his overturned car Sunday near the intersection of New Bern Avenue and the Interstate 440 off-ramp, where he ran off the road during a heavy rainstorm. Thomas was reported missing Thursday after he didn’t show up for work.
