Moore County deputies have arrested two people after finding 10 dogs had died due to their alleged negligence, Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced Thursday. Scott McCaffrey, 48, and Tambra Clift, 50, both of Weslaco, Texas, are charged with 10 counts of felony cruelty to animals. The pair are being held at the Moore County Detention on a $30,000 secured bond each. Both are due to appear on June 30th in Moore County District Court.
