According to officials, a sleeping child was shot when rounds were fired at a home in Burlington, North Carolina. The Burlington Police Department said the 10-year-old was hit in the leg and taken to a nearby hospital on Sunday. Officials say the child had injuries that weren’t considered life threatening.
