A new poll conducted by WRAL TV in Raleigh finds republican Ted Budd, just ahead of democrat Cheri Beasley in the U.S. Senate race, 43% to 42%. The survey is the third public opinion poll released over the past week showing Beasley and Budd within a single percentage point of one another.
