Winston Salem-based ProKidney Corporation announced Tuesday, its agreement to purchase a 210,000 square foot facility for $25.5 million in cash. The facility features approximately 22 acres of land in Greensboro. The operation will support the company’s future commercial manufacturing needs. The company specializes in REnal Autologous Cell Therapy, which helps treat diabetic CKD. The transaction is expected to close by the end of this month.
