This week on Good Morning LKN, we were joined by Wendi Bergstrom, founder of Grand Central Academy of Performing Arts, to talk about the Huntersville academy’s 16th season and its growing opportunities for students to explore dance, theater, art, and performance.

Wendi shared details about the academy’s new musical theater program, including its production of Honk! for ages 5 to 12, along with new art classes and the Hudson River Collaborative for dancers ages 18 and older. After 35 years of teaching, Wendi says the focus goes beyond performances and trophies, helping students build confidence, critical thinking skills, and life lessons while caring for the whole child.
