A section of U.S. 52 will be temporarily closed this Saturday to facilitate an event by the Town of Granite Quarry. From 7am to 12 noon, all lanes of U.S. 52 (South Salisbury Avenue) will be closed in both directions from Depot Street to South Main Street to perform a live burn training exercise. Traffic will be detoured to South Main and Depot streets to return to U.S. 52. Motorists are reminded to use caution and slow down when approaching the area.
