The Troutman Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred during an altercation between a skateboarder and the occupant of a vehicle yesterday. Officers determined that a verbal altercation escalated into physical violence. The subject who was stabbed sustained non-life-threatening injuries and refused transport to a medical center, according to a news release.
