David Gilliland Racing announced yesterday that Steven C. Stotts, 54, driver for its No. 17 ARCA transporter was killed in a crash on his way to Phoenix Raceway. Stotts’ passengers, John P. Zaverl, 38, of Mocksville and Michael Mizzelle, 45, of Mooresville were taken to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center – Longview in stable condition, DPS said. PHOTO credit: DPS
