Maintenance and renovation of the exterior of Statesville’s historical 1899 Government Center Building located at 200 South Center Street will begin on January 2, 2023 and last for about one year. Several parking spaces on the south side of Court Street from the front sidewalk area of the Government Center will be closed in behind a temporary construction fence which will allow scaffolding to be installed and equipment to be moved around the building.
