There were more than 50 firemen honored at the recent Statesville Fire Department awards banquet held at the Statesville Civic Center. Among those getting recognized were 14 new hires since 2020 that took part in a pinning ceremony. Other awards recognized included Fire Fighter 1 designations and Master Fire Fighter designations.
