Statesville-based Southern Distilling Company picked up six medals at the recent San Francisco Annual World Spirits Competition. The distillery brought home double gold for Southern Star Paragon Cask Strength Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey and gold for Hunting Creek Bottled-in-Bond Rye Whiskey, along with four silver medals.
