FAA officials say that a coyote was struck by a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 plane on its departure from Raleigh-Durham International to Chicago Midway International Airport yesterday. A spokesperson for the FAA said the flight returned to RDU around 8pm, and didn’t depart again until 10:05pm.
