Scott Hamrick joined Good Morning LKN to share the story of his daughter Skyler, who tragically lost her life alongside her boyfriend Fletcher in a drunk driving crash in January 2026. Skyler, just 19, had recently graduated esthetician school and had her future ahead of her when a preventable decision changed everything. Scott is now speaking across the Lake Norman and Iredell County community to raise awareness about the dangers of drunk driving and ensure Skyler and Fletcher’s legacy continues to make an impact. Through faith, community support, and sharing their story, Scott hopes to encourage safer choices and remind people that one decision can affect countless lives.
