Cornelius Today is reporting that Cornelius resident Robert Carney, an 8-year resident of Cornelius, will run for the Cornelius Board of Commissioners. The former executive director of both the Mooresville-South Iredell Economic Development Corporation and the Cabarrus County Economic Development Corporation plans to make growth management and transportation the central issues of his campaign.
