WRAL TV is reporting that a man died early this morning after being struck by the driver of a vehicle on Capital Boulevard near Hodges Street in Raleigh. The driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with an investigation by the Raleigh Police Department. Capital Boulevard was closed during initial investigation but reopened around 3:30 this morning. There is no information yet on the identity of the pedestrian who was killed. PHOTO credit: WRAK
