Professional bicycle rider Carl Fenske is still a bit shaken and sore after a hit-and-run driver struck him on Spring Garden Street. Fenske says he is always riding defensively and was totally aware of the fast approach of the SUV behind him. Fenske, who is a certified bicycle instructor, said he couldn’t move fast enough to get out of the way and to remember to watch out for bicyclists.
