Although there’s still another week until hurricane season officially kicks off, the first potential storm is already forming over the Atlantic. According to the National Hurricane Center, “A broad low is producing a large area of disturbed weather extending a couple hundred miles northeast of the Bahamas. Environmental conditions are expected to become less favorable later today.” Officials are reminding all residents in Atlantic Coast states to be prepared for potential future storms.
