Recently on Good Morning LKN, Paras Gore, owner and baker at Atelier Doux, joined us to share how her nephews’ severe food allergies inspired a business built around one idea: everyone deserves to be part of the celebration. Drawing on her background in biology and organic chemistry, Paras creates baked goods designed to be gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, nut-free, seed-free, artificial dye-free, and lower in sugar, without sacrificing the familiar flavors and textures people expect from their favorite treats.

From blueberry bread and oatmeal cream pies to chai spice, pumpkin pie, and caramel apple cookies, Atelier Doux uses ingredients like real fruit to create its flavors and colors. Find Atelier Doux at the Davidson Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9 AM–12 PM, and follow @atelier_doux_clt on Instagram for weekly Lake Norman and Charlotte-area pop-up locations.
