WNCN is reporting that Orange County deputies said they arrested a woman who killed her elderly mother by shooting her in the forehead early Sunday morning. Deputies arrived at 75-year-old Cheryl Medlin’s home and found her suffering from gunshot wound to the forehead. She was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
