WSIC’s “Sanger trio” of swimmers, Lydia, Lauren and Lindsay, swam into the record books again this past Saturday. The North Carolina Home School Association hosted their annual state swim meet on Saturday at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center in Charlotte. Lydia and Lauren Sanger helped set the new state record in the 200 free style relay and both swimmers reeled in several “top 3” metals. Twin sister, Lindsay Sanger brought home two “top 3” individual event metals and the girls helped the Forsyth county home educators girl’s swim team win the State swim meet by one point over the large Raleigh girl’s team and many other teams from across the state.
