Charlotte Stories is reporting that Duke Energy’s new Lincoln Combustion Turbine Station, powered by a massive Siemens Energy’s SGT6-9000HL (60Hz) turbine, has just been certified with the official Guinness World Records title for the “most powerful simple-cycle gas power plant” in the world with a total power output of 410.9 megawatts.
