A new airport overlook will open at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in 2024, Axios’ Ashley Mahoney reports. Whether you’re there for the skyline or the action on the runway, the overlook will offer impressive views. The new overlook off Marshall Drive will feature two age-specific playgrounds and shaded areas, more space for food trucks and picnic tables, aviation exhibits and a USAir Flight 1016 memorial, and plenty of parking.
