The Carolina Journal is reporting that Republican State Treasurer Dale Folwell, 64, has announced plans to seek the GOP nomination for governor in 2024. Follwell made the announcement at the Forsyth County Republican Convention, telling the crowd that it was important for him to make the announcement in his home county with people who have been strong supporters.
