Yesterday Senator Vicky Sawyer facilitated the first of two NCTEN meetings to discuss the modernization of NC DOT funding. Joined by other legislators and industry leaders, they worked together to find solutions to funding issues and the declining gas tax revenue. As Senate Transportation Co-Chair, Senator Sawyer says she firmly believes in the need to have conversations about these issues and encourage bipartisan discussions.
