NC Republicans Win 2 Seats on the NC Supreme Court & 4 Seats on the State Court of Appeals

In Tuesday’s 2022 midterm elections, Republican candidates were victorious in the state’s six statewide judicial races, grabbing two seats on the N.C. Supreme Court and four seats on the state Court of Appeals. The Supreme Court wins shift the bench from leaning Democrat to leaning Republican. The new court will be seated in January, 2023.
