NC Senator Danny Britt, Jr. (R-Robeson) held a press conference yesterday at the Legislative building in Raleigh with Senator Michael Lazzara (R-Onslow) to discuss legislation to combat the fentanyl and overdose epidemic. The bill being proposed is SB189: Fentanyl Drug Offenses/Increase Punishment , which would stiffen penalties for those accused of fentanyl trafficking.
