The Carolina Journal is reporting that groups representing manufacturers, small businesses, and more than 500 large corporations hope the U.S. Supreme Court will take the case of a sales tax dispute from North Carolina. The National Association of Manufacturers, National Federation of Independent Business, and the Council on State Taxation are the latest groups to file friend-of-the-court briefs in the case titled Quad Graphics v. N.C. Department of Revenue.
