Queen City News is reporting that 35-year-old Satchel Phillip Bass died Sunday after his Kawasaki ZX1400C motorcycle ran off the side of North Tryon Street at a high rate of speed and crashed in a parking lot, according to CMPD. Police said the incident happened just before 4:45am in the 5700 block of North Tryon Street. Bass was pronounced dead on the scene by Medic. An investigation is underway. Photo credit: Pixabay
