The talented young cast of Honk Jr. from Mooresville Community Children’s Theatre joined Good Morning LKN to preview their upcoming performances at the Charles Mack Citizen Center. Based on the beloved Ugly Duckling story, the musical celebrates self-acceptance, friendship, and discovering your true identity—while helping local youth build confidence, creativity, and lifelong skills through theater. Cast members shared how performing has helped them grow as actors, make lasting friendships, and learn teamwork both on stage and behind the scenes.
