You may have heard about the skier in Montanna who died of hypothermia, but what you may not have heard is the the man, William Benjamin “Ben” Brown grew up in Statesville. He was a 2014 graduate of Statesville High School, according to an obituary posted on the Nicholson Funeral Home website. According to the obituary, the family will visit with friends this Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held the following day at 11 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.
