The body of a Virginia woman who went missing four years ago was discovered under the floors of “a preexisting structure” in rural North Carolina. Sarah Ashley Hill “had not been seen or heard from since June 2018,” according to a joint statement released Oct. 21 by sheriff’s offices in Stokes and Surry counties. A cause of death has not been revealed and no arrest was announced. Hill’s body was found Monday, October 17th in Westfield, just northwest of Durham. An investigation is underway.
