WSOC TV is reporting that the Mooresville Graded School District is investigating after officials said two Mooresville High School students assaulted another student inside a classroom Friday. A teacher tried to cover the student with her own body to stop the attack before everyone walked away. The district posted a statement the same day saying it will not tolerate such actions and said that the students responsible will be disciplined to “the fullest extent,” which will involve law enforcement.
