Meet Davidson’s New Police Chief

Cornelius Today is reporting that Kimber “Kim” Davidson has been named the new chief of police in Davidson. He will replace Police Chief Penny Dunn upon her retirement in January 2023. The town conducted a nationwide search and received interest from 28 applicants. The new chief served in various roles in law enforcement before coming to Davidson, including with the US State Department, where is served as investigator, supervisor and a department leader.
