Mandatory testing for Chronic Wasting Disease begins this Saturday, Nov. 5 in the Primary and Secondary CWD Surveillance Areas…Iredell, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin counties fall entirely or partially within the Surveillance Areas. If you harvest a deer in these areas during the following dates, you must submit a sample for CWD testing. For more details, visit NCWildlife.org.
