In 2016, Joseph Rose won a $150,000 prize from the North Carolina Education Lottery. Fast forward to New Year’s Eve 2021. He won a $250 scratch-off game early in the day. Then later, on his way to a New Year’s Eve dinner, he spent $20 on another scratch-off ticket for the Winter Winnings game worth 1 Million dollars. He scratched the ticket in the parking lot and realized he had won! He plans to use the money for home improvement and retirement.
