Logan Sandate, Founder of GirlPower Flag Football, joined Good Morning LKN to share how her all-girls NFL FLAG league is creating opportunities for young athletes to build confidence, develop skills, and form lasting friendships. Inspired by her own experience as a collegiate soccer player, Logan launched the program in Mooresville with approximately 70 girls and has since grown it to more than 170 participants per league season, with an expansion into Fort Mill.

Beyond football, Logan emphasizes teaching life skills through weekly core values like resilience, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. From recreational leagues to camps, clinics, and tournament teams, GirlPower is helping girls throughout the Lake Norman area discover their potential both on and off the field.
