Cornelius Today is reporting that Davidson resident Lisa Jewel has announced her candidacy for NC House District 98 which is currently held by Cornelius resident John Bradford. “I am kicking off my campaign early in one of the marquee political races in North Carolina. Announcing early is important to develop name recognition, create campaign infrastructure and build strong relationships with people of the district,” said Jewel. She has been a precinct poll worker and poll judge, as well as Democratic chair of Precinct 127 in Davidson.
