COVID-19 hospitalizations fell for the seventh straight reporting day statewide yesterday, according to the North Carolina Department of Health & Human Services. The number of hospitalizations was at 1,364 yesterday, down 400 in one week. The volume of cases in yesterday’s report, however, rose to 2,493, from 2,160 new cases Wednesday, but below the 3,003 new cases reported last Wednesday.
