Kaylan Mariano, Director of Development at Pat’s Place Child Advocacy Center, joined Good Morning LKN to share how the organization protects and heals children experiencing abuse in Mecklenburg County. For 20 years, Pat’s Place has provided trauma-informed forensic interviews, family advocacy, medical partnerships, and free wraparound services—supporting more than 12,000 children to date. Kaylan also highlighted their upcoming Rhythm & Bruise fundraiser on March 7, 2026 in Cornelius, featuring Uptown Dueling Pianos and local breweries, with proceeds directly benefiting children and families in crisis.
