WBTV is reporting that a woman died after being struck by a truck in Kannapolis yesterday morning. Just after 5am, Kannapolis Police responded to a 911 call regarding a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle. The incident occurred near the intersection of Kannapolis Parkway and Rogers Lake Road. The pedestrian died at the scene. She was apparently walking in the middle of the street when she was struck. An investigation into the incident continues.
