WBTV is reporting that family and friends are working to honor the memory of 18-year-old Isaiah Lorenzon “Zay” Martinez. Martinez was found Sunday at around 1pm shot to death to death in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Kannapolis. Friends have now set up a GoFundMe page to help the family with funeral expenses. The goal is to raise $5,000. Police have not released any additional information about the homicide. They are asking anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Kannapolis Police Department at (704) 920-4000.
