Jean Hefner, Executive Director of Wilkes Literacy, joined us on Good Morning LKN to share how her team is transforming lives through literacy—one learner at a time. From one-on-one tutoring for adults to summer reading camps for kids, Wilkes Literacy helps residents of all ages strengthen essential reading and math skills. Jean also previewed their beloved Gingerbread House Festival, a community fundraiser that brings holiday cheer while supporting free literacy programs across the county.
