WBTV is reporting that parents and community members in Iredell County have teamed up to pay off school lunch debt so the district isn’t stuck with the bill. Within an hour after a Facebook post, $2,200 was raised, which paid off two schools. Now the goal is to pay off the lunch debt at every school in the district. By yesterday more than $6,500 had been raised out of a $30,000 goal.
