Iredell Free News is reporting that the Iredell County Board of Commissioners has approved a rezoning request to clear the way for a 50-acre solar farm along Sheffield Road in Harmony. Dill Holdings, LLC, representing landowner Hunting Creek Solar Farm, LLC, asked commissioners to rezone nearly 108 acres along Sheffield Road from Residential Agricultural (RA) to Residential Agricultural Conditional District (RACD) for a solar energy system.
