NCDOT contract crews will close a lane on I-77 North near Statesville for maintenance work tonight and Thursday night, weather permitting. The lane closure will be in place from 9pm to 5am near mile marker 58 so crews can safely install a liner on a crossline pipe under the roadway. Drivers should remain alert, use caution and reduce speed in the work zone.
