Gail Bonell of Adams Outdoor Advertising and Jenn Gibson of the Hood Hargett Breakfast Club joined Good Morning LKN live from the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to share how Charlotte’s business community is coming together to support the Purple Heart Homes Veteran Home Build. With 23 years of connecting local business leaders and an 18-year relationship with Purple Heart Homes, the Breakfast Club brought 22 members to Washington to volunteer and help build a home for Statesville veteran Jim Taylor.
Beyond business networking, Gail and Jenn highlight the organization’s commitment to community service, including partnerships with 10 nonprofits, support for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, and more than $300,000 in scholarships for local students. Their conversation shows how meaningful business relationships can turn shared ideas into lasting community impact.
