WNCN is reporting that officials with the Town of Wake Forest said one person was arrested Saturday afternoon after a fatal crash in Wake Forest earlier that morning. Police said Kaitlyn Corona, 23, who was driving a 2012 Nissan Versa was crossing an intersection when a 17-year-old male who was driving a 2014 Dodge Caravan struck the driver’s side door, killing her.
